New Glenn Rocket

The New Glenn rocket is an American orbital launch vehicle developed by Blue Origin, designed to deliver payloads to space. It is named after the astronaut John Glenn and is intended to support a variety of missions, including satellite launches and crewed spaceflight. The rocket features a reusable first stage, which is intended to land back on Earth for refurbishment and future launches, thereby lowering the cost of access to space. New Glenn is powered by BE-4 engines that run on liquid oxygen and natural gas. The rocket is planned to have two versions: a two-stage configuration for missions to low Earth orbit (LEO) and a three-stage configuration for missions to geostationary orbit (GEO) and beyond. With its significant payload capacity, New Glenn aims to compete in the commercial launch market alongside other heavy-lift rockets.
